About Us
What started out as a far-fetched, “Thanksgiving idea”, has turned into a great family business adventure in North Platte Nebraska. For the first chapter of this story, please visit the North Platte brewery website.
Now the family brings its next chapter to the Wisconsin Dells. Why you may ask? Because the other half of the family calls the Dells area home…..and jealousy! You see, we got sick of listening to half the family bragging
about all this great beer they got to taste year-round. Experimental concoctions that turn into the greatest beer ever. Seasonal huckleberry batches that only have one secret barrel created and of course is never tapped over Thanksgiving when everyone comes to visit. So we decided to make it available here, for you, for us!
We have brought great tasting microbrews and homemade pizza from the plains of the Midwest, to the rocky banks of the Wisconsin river. This is a family business of four brothers (and 4 better wives), which have now combined with owners of the Chula Vista Resort. Our venue is meant to be for the entire family, including our pet friendly outdoor seating area.
The beer is produced in North Platte, Nebraska by the brother Paul (Pal). He is a talented brewer and loves to specialize in fruit beers. While we may not have all the exact pours you search for at regular microbreweries, I guarantee you will find quality taste in all the beers you sample.
The original pizza recipes were initially created in the home of Mendy and brother Mark. Mendy’s grandma’s ancient secret sauce was the starter for some. Throughout the years, the high school cooks in North Platte were encouraged to create their own pizza innovations and the menu evolved via customer requests. Some of these ingredients are difficult to obtain in Wisconsin, so while there may be slight differences, visitors of both venues will recognize original pizza creations that they have come to love.
The sunsets may be better in Nebraska (have you ever seen a Nebraska sunset?), but the beer and pizza are equal.
Future Plans for Pals Dells
Our future plans for Pals Dells includes a dog area, tap expansion, gas fireplace. We are also laying the groundwork to expand the bar seating area and add our own beer production. This brewery isn’t just a business, for us it’s who we are. An extension of us as people. We welcome you to join us anytime because truly
